Biography

Photographic contributions for publication “TV Radiocorriere" from 1982 to 1995.
Around 250 photographic commissions for this magazine, around 60 of which were used for the front cover.
He has been commissioned for photographic services by many record companies (CBS, SONY, RCA, BMG, WEA, RICORDI, POLYGRAM, CGD, EMI, VIRGIN), for advertising campaigns, press campaigns and record/CD covers.

His photos have been used as record and book covers by many artists, including:
Bee Gees, B.B. King, George Benson, Frank Zappa, Ennio Morricone, Talking Heads, Jeff Beck, Neil Young, Pino Daniele, Claudio Baglioni, Eric Clapton, Jorma Kaukomen, Renato Zero, Riccardo Cocciante, Roberto Vecchioni, Teresa De Sio, Fabrizio De Andrè, Laura Pausini, Luca Carboni, Gianni Morandi, Daniele Silvestri, Vinicio Capossela, Francesco Guccini, Roberto Murolo, Luca Barbarossa, Sergio Cammariere, Larry Carlton, Ligabue, Maurizio Giammarco, Enrico Pieranunzi, Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, Roberto Gatto, Stefano Di Battista, Danilo Rea, Rita Marcotulli, Francesco Cafiso, Jim Hall, Miles Davis.

He has worked for the International photigraphic agency GRAZIA NERI S.r.l., Milan, Italy.

His photos have been published in some of the most important national and international publications, including:
Time, The Guardian, The Times, New York Times, Mojo, Panorama, L’’Espresso, L’Europeo, Amica, Sette, Specchio, Epoca, Rolling Stone, GQ, Playboy, Stern, Interview, Liberation, Spin, Rock&Folk, Musician, Guitar Played, etc.

He worked for the RAI 2 TV Programme “Ho Bisogno di Te”, in 1993, 1994 and 1995, producing a series of photographic services in the refugee camps in Croatia, Bosnia and Albania. These photos were also used in a series of TV commercials in favour of humanitarian aid for the International Red Cross.

He was the official photographer for the monthly rock music magazine “Il Mucchio Selvaggio” from 1981 to 1998, producing numerous photographic services for the magazine, including around 40 front covers.

From 1979 to 1986 he worked for various music specialist magazines, such as:
Ciao 2001, Music, Rockstar, Stereoplay, Suono, Rock&Folk.

He is the author of the photographic book “Pino Daniele - E sona mo”. Box set (book and CD).
He has collaborated with others to produce Claudio Baglioni’s photographic book “C’era un Cavaliere in Bianco e Nero”, Mondadori Editore 1998.
